Knowle Grange is a boutique Health Spa set in beautiful Victorian gardens just minutes from Tunbridge Wells on the Kent/Sussex border. Our modern facilities and friendly team make membership at Knowle Grange the perfect tranquil escape.

We restrict our membership numbers to focus on the health and wellbeing of our members and to retain exclusivity, ensuring they can enjoy the space and facilities without it feeling in any way crowded. If you are interested in joining, please get in touch with us. You may have to join a short waiting list. Please note: members must be 18 or over.

Our Facilities

The Barn

Our bright airy barn houses a new gym, an exercise studio and a wonderful, licensed café with beautiful outside seating areas. To the east of there is a paddock ideal for outdoor exercise.

Gym

Knowle Grange's well-equipped gym offers a welcome space for members to exercise. Gym classes and Personal Training are also offered by our knowledgeable and friendly team to help members achieve their fitness goals.

Exercise Studio

Our purpose-built bright and airy studio features exciting equipment such as the combi-trainer, and the Elasko frame which is unique to Knowle Grange. A variety of classes are hosted every week. To find out more, please visit our Classes page.

Knowle Grange Café

Knowle Grange has a delightful licensed café which is available exclusively to spa guests, clients, members and their guests. Our friendly café staff prepare fresh, delicious, healthy food, and serve a selection of drinks. To find out more please visit our Café page.

The Paddock

Located to the east of the barn, our beautiful paddock is the perfect place for outdoor exercise. In the summer, some classes and workshops such as Tai Chi are held outside, as even short periods in the fresh air has been shown to improve mood and reduce stress.

Year-Round Swimming

Natural Spring Water Pool

We have a natural spring water swimming pool heated to roughly 28°C (82°F) set in a tranquil Victorian walled garden.

The swimming pool has a telescopic enclosure to enable year-round swimming, with the added advantage of being able to open the bi-fold doors/push back the sections to enjoy sunshine without chill on a bright sunny winter’s day.

During early mornings and evenings it is floodlit, and during the summer months members can relax on loungers in the surrounding gardens. Well-equipped nearby pool changing rooms include a beautiful mosaic steam room.

Please note: the pool is unsupervised.

Our Spa Building

Tranquility and Relaxation

The spa building houses our reception, two of our treatment rooms, a sauna, a spa relaxation lounge and candle-lit jacuzzi. There are also two changing rooms, which include disabled access.
